ARTIST | HARPIST | AUTHOR
Born in a family of musicians, I started learning the harp with Elvina DuBreuil in Burgundy. I graduated from the Conservatoire, Chalon sur Saône, in 2008, and was appointed as music theory teacher at this same institute. I then continued my harp studies with Germaine Lorenzini. In 2011, I entered the Pôle Supérieur d'Enseignement de la Musique en Bourgogne, perfecting my harp skills with Valeria Kafelnikov.
As teaching was so closely entertwined with my musical journey, I created a course about rock music, which resulted in two concerts of Beatles' songs played and arranged by secondary school students in 2012.
As a performing musician, I play with several orchestras, and founded a chamber music trio aiming to create bridges between disciplinary arts.
As a member of the World Civic Orchestra, I had the opportunity to play at the Rudolfinum in Prague in June 2017, and, as soloist, performed Debussy's Danses at the prestigious Alice Tully Hall of the Lincoln Center, New York, in July 2018.
My repertoire is mostly French music orientated, including Ravel's Introduction et Allegro and Debussy's Danses, but I have at heart to promote my instrument in all its colours and originality, so will often include Britten, Hindemith, Cage and other contemporary composers to my programmes.
